What has Roo been up to, you ask? Writing my little tooshie off for EDGE Media Network, taking improv classes and eating 16-course dinners in Chicago for Passport Magazine and sorting through the most spectacular collection of home goods for a new lifestyle brand called Hudson Made. All in a week’s work. Speaking of which, here are some highlights of my favorite stories…
“Hipster Hassidic or Just Plain Wrong?” — The grand finale to my Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week was a Yentl-inspired collection that would have Barbra Streisand screaming, “Don’t tell me not to live, just sit and putter!”
Food & Drink
“Molecule-R: A Scientific Experiment in the Kitchen” — It took my 11-year-old niece to remind me that I am just as scientifically inept as I was in 1985.
“Those Tiny Little Bubbles” — The French are still battling out the origin of sparkling wine and and Rende-vous en France wanted to know the verdict. I was happy to oblige.
“The Alpina Gstaad: Switzerland’s Latest Luxury Property” — The Swiss invented the most used typeface of all time, Helvetica, now this?
One thing I don’t need but I want:
