Roo is like the proverbial dangling carrot — taunting you with witty turns of phrase about food and travel, ranting over some fashion mishap and then kicking it back with a cocktail and disappearing for two months. Sometimes one loses control of the vehicle when driving in the fast lane and if you’ve ever been in a car with Roo, you’d know how easily this can happen.
So spring came and went and here we are on the cusp of summer. In the meantime, Roo dashed off to his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, for a forthcoming feature for Passport Magazine, then sailed the ocean blue on the Queen Mary 2 and skedaddled to Paris and London for obligatory baguettes, far too much wine (if there is such a thing) and the best production of Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along… ever.
